CHILDREN'S PLAY

SUMMARY

The play is concerned
with the ever present and very serious problem
of environmental pollution, which destroys
little by little any form of life
on the planet. Specifically a Crab,
an Urchin, a Starfish, a Gull,
a Giant Anemone and a Lobster – residents
of a dirty and neglected beach –
join forces in order to
stop the destruction
which is about to cause
a Great Oil Spill, which was caused
from the collision of two ships at sea.
The battle is fought and together with the great
and valuable audience participation, our heroes manage to come out victorious and sing the song “S.O.S.E. THE PLANET"(Save the Planet), conveying this important message to all of us.

The participation of not only actors but also dancers, the impressively enlarged sets, the numerous colorful costumes, the clever and humorous dialogues, the very beautiful songs and dances, but also a large number of colorful and impressive puppets (manual and remote controlled), compose a rich, fantastic spectacle, full of meaning, making the young viewers not only enjoy themselves, but also reflect on the issue of saving the planet, "their" planet.
