And now Greece is in the crosshairs again. The reasons are known.
It's many privileges and there are many who want to take something from it. So I wanted to praise this Greece,
through this year's performance, starting with the following lyrics:
"Greece, land of light
you steal the impressions.
Someone will find in you
fifty shades"
What are they? Sun, heat, cold, rain, snow, seas, bays, gulfs, lakes, rivers, mountains, plains, slopes, plains, sunrise, sunset, philotimos, donkey, intelligence, stupidity, pride, shame, daring, cowardice, madness, hospitality, culture, history, industriousness, laziness, eroticism, kindness, rudeness, gratitude, ingratitude, honesty, politeness, reliability, consistency, inconsistency, perseverance, patience, courage, dignity, respect, disrespect, justice, truth, lies and most importantly? Humor!
With this humor we will try tonight to laugh and forget about everything that is happening around us.
And let's leave with a smile and optimism, believing that the best is yet to come!
Because if we believe it, it will happen!
And Greece will regain its old lost self. The one she deserves!
The one who has made us feel proud many times, but also a great honor to be born Greek!
