Woe to the Young or Woe to the Old!
The Greek version of Faust!
The desire to stay forever young. The eternal battle of Good and Evil, New and Old, Love, against Money.
A sweet work, with humor, nostalgic images, tenderness and humanity.

Andreas and Agesilaos, are two wealthy old townspeople, single, but in love with Rita, their young neighbor, daughter of Mrs. Eleni. Andreas, who believes that only youth brings happiness and not money, like another Faust and in a metaphysical and absolutely… natural way, he agrees with the Devil to sell him his soul, in order to become young again, with the aim - of course - to win Rita's heart! But with the condition that he remains poor! That's the deal! But the rich and elderly Agesilaus closely besieges Rita, constantly promising her a comfortable life... and next to them is Manolis, the fling... poor as well, he waits, hopes...
