but fortunately there is a lot of humor for satire and laughter until tears - even if we don't have a handkerchief to wipe our tears with - in the new revue by Markos Seferlis at the PEROKE theater from Friday, February 7, 2014!
So when "there's no money...", the Greek mother goes through hard times trying to support her seven unemployed children with the pension she gets! And all this where? In a country where various tragicomedic events happen!
The Police now only train dogs, since manpower costs too much,
while three pregnant women wonder what world they will bring their children to!
A gypsy, trying to convince everyone that little Lulu (a beautiful blonde girl) is his,
the moment two madmen ("Napoleon the Great" and "Elvis Presley") realize
that in reality they should be outside and all those who govern Greece should be inside instead of them!
This is where four wandering musicians appear, performing a song that arouses worldwide interest, since through its lyrics it denounces the political system and social policy in general
of the current Government! And all this culminates with the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis,
touring the Public Nursing Homes, trying to collect votes for the next election.
