Markos Seferlis, who for years has won the love of children, writes, directs and stars in a show that will touch children's souls.
SUMMARY
The story takes place in the old wooden sideboard of a kitchen.
GINGERBREAD MAN, who has just been baked by the “Big Ones” – that is, the owners of the house – meets the Cuckoo, who lives inside the house clock and faces a very serious problem. He has a tired and sore throat, which does not allow him to properly pronounce his infamous “cuckoos” and as a result he risks finding himself in the garbage can the next morning. The efforts of GINGERBREAD MAN to heal Cuckoo’s throat, so that he can find his voice again and remain close to them, are blocked by a hungry Mouse and an old and forgotten pouch of Tea, who lives inside a teapot on the highest shelf of the sideboard. Will he be able to achieve his goal? The large and constructive participation of the children, the clever humor, the intense action, the enlarged objects and scenery, the colorful and impressive costumes, the many beautiful dances and songs and finally the simple, but very important messages of the show – like friendship, love and cooperation – rank David Wood’s musical “THE GINGERBREAD MAN” as one of the greatest and most performed plays
